The Fatoumatta-Barrow Foundation, established by the First Lady to support humanitarian services, celebrated its official launch on Friday, raising over one hundred million dalasis.
Nigerian Alhaji Mohammed Indimi, the chief launcher, generously pledged one million dollars, with numerous Gambian individuals and organizations making substantial contributions. The Foundation plans to allocate these funds to its renowned humanitarian efforts in health, education, socio-economic development, and the empowerment of women and the underprivileged.
